international conference on Applications of Fractals and Wavelets (ICAFW-2015)

Department of Mathematics at Amrita School of Engineering, Coimbatore is organizing an international conference on Applications of Fractals and Wavelets (ICAFW-2015). The conference aims to bring together the researchers to discuss and exchange ideas on the avant-garde areas of fractals and wavelets.
The development of scientific research has the significant contribution of the theory and applications of fractals and wavelets. These are the latest techniques in recent years which spawned applications indifferent areas of science and engineering. The conference will cover a wide range of topics which include Fractals, Self Similarity, Iterated Function Systems,Complex Dynamics, Fractal Antennas, Wavelets, Nonparametric Regression, Time Series Analysis, Signal Processing, and Image Processing.
Resource persons are from leading academic and research institutions such as University of Zaragoza, University of IOWA, RSET, ISI, CSIR, Gandhigram Rural Institute, Periyar University and IIT. The conference will provide opportunity for the young researchers to present and discuss the advances in the theory and a wide array of applications in the major themes.
ICAFW – 2015 seeks original research articles and the conference provides the opportunity for the young researchers to present and discuss the advances in the theory and a wide array of applications in the major themes.

PAPER SUBMISSION FORMAT

The authors are requested to send their research papers in PDF format made either by LaTex or MS Word.
The papers may be sent through e-mail or may be submitted online. 
All the papers submitted for the conference will be selected through peer review process for presentation.



IMPORTANT DATES:

  • Abstract Submission - Deadline: 15th September 2014.
  • Full paper submission: 30th September 2014.
  • Announcement of acceptance: 30th October 2014.
  • Registration - Deadline: 30th November 2014.

All presented papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings. 

The papers that are selected as highly contributory to the theme of the conference will be published in a special issue of Fractals Journal (Scopus Listed)
