National Workshop on Advanced Computing Methods (May 2, 2013)

With a heart-felt ecstasy, we take great pleasure in informing you that the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of Velammal Engineering College is organizing a National Workshop on Advanced Computing Methods & National Conference on Advanced Computing Technologies on    May 2,’13 & May 3,’13 respectively.
 OBJECTIVE:
Soft Computing encompasses the technologies of fuzzy logic, genetic algorithms, and neural networks, and it has emerged as an effective tool for dealing with control, modeling, and decision problems in complex systems. The objective of the workshop is to expose the participants to the use tools in soft computing applications, commands, and its functions and provides hands on experience in MATLAB programming which will help the participants to enhance their knowledge in soft computing application.

The workshop covers basic
§  Data Mining
§  Neural Network
§  Fuzzy logic
§  Genetic Algorithm
Session 1         : Introduction to Soft Computing Techniques ( Data Mining / Neural Network )
Session 2         : Soft Computing Technique in Matlab – Demo ( Data Mining / Neural Network )
Session 3         : Introduction to Fuzzy logic and Genetic Algorithm
Session 4         : Fuzzy logic and Genetic Algorithm in Matlab - Demo
